Hello! I am an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Jacksonville State University, where I teach graphic design, UI/UX, motion, and interactive systems.

My work examines how typography, layout, and visual systems behave when they move beyond the page or screen, into environments that respond to the people inside them. Three recent installations take speech, facial expression, and heart rate as live input, and turn each one into generative typography and projection.

I also run a design practice, most recently brand identity for the Paint Rock Research Center, and co-host The Strange South, a podcast about Southern folklore.
