Patrice N. Anderson is a passionate artist, designer, and educator with over two decades of experience in the creative field. She holds an M.F.A. in Visual Communication Design from Jacksonville State University and a B.F.A. in Multimedia from Mississippi State University. Her expertise encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including graphic design, web development, and UI/UX design.
Throughout her career, Patrice has held various teaching positions at Mississippi State University, Jacksonville State University, and the Academy of Art University. As an educator, she has created curriculum teaching project-based learning and creative thinking. Her dedication to teaching has also extended beyond the classroom, presenting engaging workshops and guest lectures on topics like podcasting and the intersection of jazz and design mentorship.
Patrice's professional experience includes founding and operating her own successful web design business, Mudpie Media, and working as a Web Designer/Developer for both Gibens Creative Group and Peavey Electronics. With a keen eye for design and the ability to navigate multiple programming languages, Patrice has earned numerous accolades, including six local Gold ADDY Awards and a "Best in Show" recognition.
A member of the creative community, Patrice's involvement extends to organizations like AIGA, FATE, SECAC, and UCDA. Her work has been featured in various exhibitions, showcasing her multifaceted talents as an artist and designer.
